This role is focused on supporting corporate tax compliance delivery across South Asia and MENA markets. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience supporting corporate income tax compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions, with a strong understanding of country-specific filing requirements, data reconciliation, compliance processes and cross-border stakeholder management.

Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or review corporate income tax returns, reports and supporting schedules for multinational clients operating across South Asia and MENA markets, based on country-specific guidance.
- Support corporate tax compliance delivery by applying jurisdiction-specific filing requirements, documentation standards, data checks and review procedures.
- Act as a country or market resource for an assigned jurisdiction, providing practical guidance and training to team members on local compliance expectations and process requirements.
- Liaise with KPMG member firms and regional stakeholders to clarify country-specific compliance matters and support the timely delivery of client obligations.
- Perform data validation, reconciliations and corporate tax reviews to ensure submissions are accurate, complete and aligned with client and market requirements.
- Help clients stay compliant with their tax obligations by identifying potential compliance risks, process gaps or data inconsistencies and escalating matters appropriately.
- Prepare draft client correspondence, working papers and explanations summarizing facts, compliance analysis, solutions and recommendations.
- Identify and drive automation, digitalization and process-imvement opportunities to optimize consistency and efficiency across regional corporate tax compliance delivery.
- Mentor and coach junior colleagues by sharing technical knowledge, market-specific guidance and good compliance practices.
- Support Managers and Senior Managers in client discussions, transition activities and knowledge transfer for new or existing engagements.
- Support centralized delivery of compliance requirements across services such as Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, Statutory Financial Statements and Withholding Tax (WHT).
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of corporate income tax compliance experience providing data-based compliance services; more experienced candidates will be considered for Assistant Manager level.
- Hands-on corporate tax compliance experience supporting South Asia and MENA jurisdictions is highly preferred.
- Experience preparing or reviewing corporate tax returns, reconciliations, tax reports and compliance documentation across multiple jurisdictions would be advantageous.
- Solid working knowledge of corporate income tax and cross-border compliance principles.
- Ability to interpret and apply country-specific compliance guidance, filing requirements, reporting deadlines and stakeholder inputs with strong attention to detail.
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
- Strong written and spoken English is required; additional regional language proficiency is an advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, data cleansing, reconciliations and working with large datasets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyse complex information with precision and attention to detail.
