Job Summary
As a Cost Accountant at Quantum, you will be responsible for reviewing and reporting on various activities related to production and service/repair operations, including cost maintenance, variance analysis, financial close and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Month-end close review and journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
- Prepare monthly and quarterly inventory reports and trend analysis
- Product costing and maintenance
- Develop reporting to analyze inventory transactions and variance analysis
- Identify issues and work with operations to implement solutions
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- SOX compliance and testing
- Reserve analysis and calculation
- Working Hours: 8.00AM to 5.00PM with flexibility to occasionally work off hours to attend project meetings with US counterparts.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience with inventory cost accounting is a plus
- ERP systems and report-writing experience, D365 experience a plus
- Strong skills in MS Excel
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Able to adapt to rapidly changing business models
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Ability to take on projects with minimal guidance
