Purpose Statement: The Costing Documentation Specialist I is responsible for the analysis, creation, and standardization of customer documentation necessary for the Costing process.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Create clear and concise communication for the Costing Team, Business Development, Customer Management and operations with regard to documentation gaps.
- Ensure costing solution follows the organization's guidelines, customer specifications, quote strategy and adheres to regulatory compliance and quality guidelines.
- Interpret customer technical documentation and understand the organization's manufacturing capabilities in order to make intelligent purchase decisions.
- Transform customer strategy and documentation into appropriate structure and inputs for the cost estimation and tools system.
Education/Experience Qualifications
- Technical or Science Degree / Professional Certification in related discipline.
- (0-3) years of experience in EMS industry or related experience in technical documentation is required

- Prioritize multiple tasks, meets deadlines and communicates shortcomings to management.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of product related bom structure.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings.
Physical Requirements
- Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
