Costing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update standard costing for products and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze cost variances (labor, material, overhead) and explain impacts to management.
• Develop and maintain cost models, margin dashboards, and profitability reports.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Production teams to validate cost assumptions.
• Support cost analysis for product quotations, pricing decisions, and business cases.
• Prepare cost of goods sold (COGS) reports and support inventory valuations.
• Assist in inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when needed.
• Lead annual and periodic physical inventory review and reconciliation with Operations.
• Support FP&A and Finance leadership with cost trend analysis and strategic insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 710 years of costing or manufacturing finance experience.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, manufacturing cost flow, and standard cost methodology.
• Prior experience working with ERP systems (SAP B1 experience is an advantage).
• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with capability to collaborate across departments.
• Able to work independently, with strong attention to detail and accountability.
