Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Country Desk Account Manager (Japanese Speaker) to support daily office operations while assisting the Sales and Marketing teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage administrative tasks, coordinate sales activities, and support Japanese-language marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Manage front desk operations, including handling calls, emails, visitor inquiries, and general correspondence.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and calendar scheduling for internal teams and management.
- Support HR and recruitment processes by managing documentation, filing, and administrative coordination.
- Prepare reports, maintain records, and provide administrative support to management when required.
- Ensure proper filing and handling of confidential documents and company records.
Sales Support
- Assist the sales team with client communication, appointment scheduling, and documentation preparation.
- Track sales leads, maintain accurate CRM records, and update client databases.
- Prepare sales reports and assist in monitoring sales pipeline activities.
- Coordinate with the finance team on quotations, invoices, contracts, and related documentation.
- Provide administrative support for client onboarding and follow-up processes.
Marketing Support (Japanese Language Focus)
- Translate, proofread, and localize marketing materials into Japanese.
- Support marketing campaigns by developing culturally relevant content ideas for Japanese-speaking audiences.
- Liaise with Japanese-speaking clients, partners, and stakeholders on marketing-related initiatives.
- Monitor Japanese-language digital platforms and social media channels to track engagement and market trends.
- Assist the marketing team with campaign coordination and content execution when needed.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in administration, sales support, customer service, or marketing coordination roles.
- Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) is required.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and basic marketing tools/platforms.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
