The Role
This position is responsible for managing the activities within Finance function in Malaysia. The position will report directly to Finance Leader, Rest of Asia Pacific. This incumbent provides advice and counsel to the business leaders, and also provides business insight and functional guidance. Assuming the role of a business partner within the organization, to develop and enhance the finance capability of financial planning, analysis and controllership to support business growth of Malaysia.
Principal Responsibilitie
- sProvide leadership and financial expertise to address and seek opportunities for continuing growth and margin expansion
- .Work closely with business leaders to provide needed financial counsel and support for decision making, and in-depth financial and operational analysis to drive profitable and sustainable business growth and operation productivity improvement
- .Lead annual AOP and LRP (long range planning) processes and provide accurate and meaningful financial information and provide interpretive, value-added guidance in addition to standard reporting and data compilation required for the business to achieve its financial objectives
- .Ensure that proper processes are in place for the accurate forecasting of sales, costs, working capital, fixed capital investments and return on investment
- .Oversee credit and collection initiatives to ensure that credit policies are enforced throughout the organization and that timely collections are made
- .Assume responsibility for improving process efficiency and implementing cost controls/programs within the organization
- .Ensure that corporate reporting requirements are met in a timely fashion and in accordance with U.S. GAAP and other appropriate requirements, and that the business complies with components of Sarbanes-Oxley, especially for FICAP, SIC, SOX, FCPA and local statutory and tax requirement
- .Ensure all project recording and treatment (including booking/revenue, costs but not limited to them) are in line with relevant policies, LOA and processe
