Job Description

Overview: Country Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and achieving strategic sales targets in the Malaysian market. This role requires extensive experience in the telecom industry, primarily focusing on CPaaS (Communication Platform as a Service) D2D, D2I, WABA, RCS, Cloud Numbers, etc. The individual will lead sales strategies for Global & Domestic Enterprises based in Malaysia. The role includes leading a high-performance sales team of Account Managers and also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Leadership:

o Own the CPaaS sales strategy and execution across Domestic & International Region

o Drive the achievement of revenue, margin, and market share targets across all CPaaS offerings

o Provide strategic insights into customer acquisition by identifying and leveraging opportunities arising from competitive churn

o Lead and manage high-performing Account Managers and Solution Consultants

o Create plans that aligns with local telecom dynamics and enterprise demand

o Foster strategic relationships with enterprise, aggregator & channel stakeholders through effective cross-selling and revenue growth strategies

2. Business Development:

o Identify and convert new business opportunities across enterprises, aggregators & channel partners

o Develop strategic partnerships with Hyperscalers. Tech Companies, Strategic, Global & Domestic enterprises

o Expand footprint in enterprises through proactive engagement and opportunity mapping

3. Product Expertise & Solution Selling:

o Leverage deep domain knowledge in CPaaS, D2I, D2D, WABA, RCS & Cloud numbers to offer tailored solutions

o Partner with product teams to ensure solutions meet market demands and client expectations

o Deliver compelling presentations and workshops to C-level stakeholders showcasing CPaaS use cases and ROI

4. Client Relationship Management:

o Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering loyalty

o Act as a strategic advisor, providing clients with insights on improving communication efficiency and digital transformation via CPaaS

o Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and long-term agreements with major clients

5. Team Leadership & Development:

o Mentor and coach the sales team, ensuring they have the skills and resources to succeed

o Set clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable for achieving their objectives

o Drive a high-performance sales culture by fostering collaboration, innovation, and a client-centric approach

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecom, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred). 15+ years of experience in telecom sector in Malaysia, with a strong focus on CPaaS sales Strong network and industry relationships across enterprise customers in Malaysia Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities

Skills Required: Expertise in selling CPaaS, D2I, D2D, WABA, RCS and Cloud numbers Strategic planning and business development Consultative selling and relationship management Team leadership and performance coaching Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Preferred Experience: Experience working in major Communication & Messaging Players of Malaysia Familiarity with telecom regulations, compliance standards, and market dynamics
