Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced professional from the freight forwarding industry to

establish and lead our operations in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will not only manage

daytoday operations but also drive business growth, build strategic partnerships, and

represent our company in the Malaysian market.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and oversee freight forwarding operations in Malaysia.

Develop new business opportunities and expand client base in the region.

Represent the company with Malaysian forwarders, agents, and customers.

Build and maintain strong industry relationships to support growth.

Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Provide regular performance and market reports to the Head Office.

Lead and mentor the local team to achieve operational and business targets.

Requirements

Minimum 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics operations.

Strong network and established relations with Malaysian forwarders and agents.

Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently and represent the company in Malaysia.

Knowledge of import/export procedures, documentation, and compliance.
