About the role
Forest Cloud is looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Creative Lead to shape and deliver our visual identity across packaging, e-commerce, campaigns, short-form video, and retail merchandise.
This full-time role is based in Kota Damansara. Regular collaboration is on-site; a hybrid arrangement may be considered after onboarding, subject to role requirements and management approval.
Salary: RM5,500–RM7,500 per month, negotiable based on portfolio and experience.

Forest Cloud is a Malaysian beverage specialist supplying premium coffee beans, matcha, houjicha, chocolate, and professional beverage ingredients to cafés, key accounts, and retail consumers. Our packaging, brand identity, and visual storytelling are central to how customers experience our products.
Key responsibilities
• Brand identity: Define, evolve, and safeguard Forest Cloud's visual system, packaging language, and storytelling across digital and physical touchpoints.
• Creative leadership and execution: Guide designers, video creators, and content contributors while remaining hands-on with important deliverables.
• Packaging and product presentation: Lead packaging design for coffee, ceremonial matcha, functional powders, lifestyle goods, and OEM client projects.
• Campaign and content direction: Develop commercially effective visual campaigns for product launches, social channels, Shopify, Shopee, and TikTok Shop.
• Art direction: Direct photography and video shoots, including concepts, lighting, styling, composition, and beverage presentation.
• Production: Prepare and review print-ready artwork, dielines, colour specifications, materials, finishes, and supplier proofs.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Translate product stories and business goals into effective creative assets with Product, E-Commerce, and Sales teams.
• Quality and workflow: Set clear briefs, timelines, review standards, and asset-management practices for reliable creative delivery.
Requirements
• Portfolio: A direct portfolio link or accessible PDF is required. It should demonstrate brand identity, typography, packaging design, and commercial art direction. Applications without an accessible portfolio cannot be assessed.
• Language: Professional working proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking regional print suppliers, overseas packaging manufacturers, and commercial partners. Good professional English is also required. This is a job-related communication requirement; applicants of all backgrounds are welcome.
• Experience: At least 4 years of relevant creative or design experience, including at least 1 year leading projects or a small creative team. Senior Art Directors or Design Leads ready to step up are welcome to apply.
• Relevant work: Strong examples of packaging, brand systems, modern typography, and art direction. F&B, lifestyle, retail, or consumer-brand experience is preferred.
• Technical skills: Advanced Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign skills. Familiarity with collaborative design platforms, video pacing, or motion design is an advantage.
• Production knowledge: Practical understanding of packaging print processes, dielines, colour management, material finishes, proofing, and supplier coordination.
• Work style: Strong design judgment, attention to detail, commercial awareness, clear communication, and the ability to balance creative quality with deadlines.
