Hepmil Malaysia is a digital content and creator agency that connects brands with Gen Z and young millennials through hyper-localized, entertaining content. Home to pages like MGAG and Hepmil Creators Network (HCN), we help brands engage audiences with content that's proudly local, proudly ridiculous, and always relatable.

We're looking for a Creative Strategy Lead (AM/M) to bring bold ideas to life, drive campaign execution, and inspire a team of creatives. You'll bridge strategy with creativity, ensuring our content not only resonates with culture but also delivers impact for our brand partners.

Key Responsibilities

Concept Generation & Ideation

  • Develop social-first ideas and campaign concepts that give our brand partners a creative edge.
  • Translate audience insights, platform trends, and brand objectives into innovative campaign ideas.
  • Support in brainstorming sessions, helping both clients and internal teams unlock creative possibilities.

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Oversee day-to-day execution of campaign elements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on brief, and with high creative quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounts, Strategy, Production) to ensure alignment between creative vision and business objectives.
  • Monitor creative performance and recommend optimizations throughout the campaign lifecycle.

Brand Storytelling & Messaging

  • Craft clear and compelling messaging that reflects brand values, communicates key ideas, and drives engagement.
  • Ensure creative outputs are culturally relevant, platform-appropriate, and resonate with Gen Z and young millennial audiences.
  • Contribute to pitch decks, proposals, and creative treatments for clients.

Creative Team Management & Culture

  • Lead and mentor a team of designers, writers, and content creators, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality creative work.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and supportive creative culture.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to elevate the team's creative capabilities.

Requirements

  • Creative Experience: Minimum 5+ years in a creative, content, or digital agency environment.
  • Platform Expertise: Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, with awareness of emerging formats and trends.
  • Cultural Understanding: Familiarity with the social content ecosystem, particularly short-form video and meme culture.
  • Strategic Execution: Experience developing marketing strategies and executing cross-channel content.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work with account teams, strategists, and production in bringing campaigns to life.
  • Client Management: Comfortable engaging with clients and industry professionals, with strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Detail Orientation: Ability to present ideas concisely and deliver work with accuracy and consistency.
  • Creative Advantage: Exposure to video content production, influencer/creator collaborations, or digital advertising is a plus.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a hybrid work setup and a fast-paced, evolving agency environment.
