Job Description

Role

The Product Manager supports the development, maintenance, and enhancement of credit programs and lending products. The incumbent is responsible for understanding product requirements, reviewing credit program guidelines, supporting product initiatives, providing operational and analytical support to management.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Program & Product Support

Review, interpret and understand credit programs, product parameters, eligibility criteria and risk acceptance guidelines.

Assist in drafting, updating and maintaining product manuals, credit program documents and process notes.

Monitor product performance trends and support management in evaluating portfolio risk, utilization, customer behaviour and exception patterns.

Support product enhancements, policy changes and implementation of new credit features.

Operational & Stakeholder Coordination

Work closely with Sales, Credit, Risk, Support, Legal and Compliance to ensure clear understanding of product and credit program requirements.

Handle queries from frontline or internal teams related to product rules, documentation or credit program interpretation.

Support process improvements to enhance customer experience, turnaround time and operational efficiency.

Management Support & Analysis

Prepare management reports, trackers and periodic performance updates.

Assist in analyzing product gaps, market opportunities, customer segmentation and competitor offerings.

Support management in coordinating projects, regulatory updates and governance requirements.

Requirements

Experience & Knowledge

Possess degree or equivalent to it.

23 years banking experience, preferably within lending, credit evaluation, SME/Business banking, or product management.

Good understanding of banking products and customer financing structures.

Able to read, interpret and apply credit program guidelines accurately.

Skills

Analytical & detail oriented; able to review data and identify trends or gaps.

Good communication skills to explain product requirements to stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Strong organizational skills with ability to multi tasks.
