The company also provides online motor insurance and road tax renewal services to enhance customer convenience.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credit Officer role based in WP Kuala Lumpur. The Credit Officer will review and assess credit applications, analyze financial information, and evaluate risks to ensure sound credit decisions aligned with company policies. The role includes preparing credit proposals, recommending credit limits and terms, and monitoring existing accounts for early identification of potential risks. The Credit Officer will liaise with sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to clarify documentation, communicate decisions, and ensure timely processing of applications. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, complying with regulatory and internal guidelines, and contributing to continuous improvement in credit processes and standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong expertise in Credit and Credit Management, with experience in evaluating creditworthiness and setting appropriate credit terms.
  • Candidates should possess solid Finance knowledge, including ability to interpret financial statements and understand lending products and risk parameters.
  • Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, with capability to assess data, identify trends, and make structured, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to interact with customers and internal teams professionally.
  • Relevant experience in banking, financial services, or auto financing is beneficial, along with familiarity with local regulatory requirements.
  • A diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are important.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and basic financial systems is an advantage; multilingual abilities are beneficial for engaging diverse customers.
