We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team in a Credit Risk / Credit Analysis role, working closely with the Capital GM to support business growth through sound credit evaluation and risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess credit applications, renewals, amendments, and financing proposals.
- Analyze financial and non-financial data, prepare credit papers, and present recommendations to approval authorities.
- Conduct dealer credit reviews, evaluating financial strength, operations, and risk profile.
- Recommend credit limits, financing structures, security packages, and documentation requirements.
- Monitor credit portfolio performance and identify early warning signals for risk mitigation.
- Perform periodic and ad-hoc reviews, including high-risk accounts and covenant monitoring.
- Support development of credit policies, risk frameworks, internal controls, and procedures.
- Identify and manage broader risks including operational, compliance, legal, and documentation risks.
- Maintain risk registers and key risk indicators, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams, dealers, and stakeholders to balance growth and risk control.
- Participate in portfolio reviews, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and policy implementation activities.
- Handle other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lending, credit underwriting, financial analysis, or risk management.
- Strong expertise in credit assessment, financial analysis, and structuring complex financing proposals.
- Good understanding of collateral evaluation, credit risk mitigation, and documentation.
- Solid knowledge of risk management principles, governance, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical thinking with sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work across teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
