About the Role
We are looking for a bilingual Crypto Researcher to join our content team. You will produce original, in-depth research reports and market analysis in both Chinese and English — tracking macro trends, dissecting industry developments, and turning data into insights that matter. If you geek out on crypto markets and can write about them with depth and clarity, this role is for you.
What you'll do
- Independently research and produce bilingual (Chinese & English) in-depth industry reports covering macro trends, market developments, and sector analysis
- Track crypto market movements and business pulse on an ongoing basis, and translate observations into timely, well-structured written content
- Work with data — source, interpret, and present quantitative and qualitative information to support your analysis
- Ensure all content is original and independently produced, without reliance on AI tools or machine translation
- Collaborate with the team to align research output with content priorities and publishing schedules
What we're looking for
- 2 years of writing or editorial experience in Web3/crypto or financial media, with a research or analytical slant
- Proven ability to independently produce bilingual research reports or in-depth analytical content in both Chinese and English
- Data-literate — comfortable working with market data and weaving it into coherent, substantive analysis
- Overseas educational background and/or Master's degree preferred; strong work track record considered in lieu
- Experience at an exchange research desk or crypto/financial media with a research focus is a strong plus (e.g. exchange insights teams, The Block, Foresight, PANews research)
- Genuine passion for the crypto industry — you follow markets, read widely, and have opinions on where things are heading
- Detail-oriented, stable, and consistent — we're looking for someone who builds, not bounces
- Native-level fluency in written Chinese
