Silicon One is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Custom Layout Engineer to join our elite engineering team. We deliver comprehensive, end-to-end IC design solutions—spanning logic and circuit design through to full physical implementation and tape-out.
In this role, you will collaborate with industry veterans to ensure our high-performance designs meet world-class specifications across advanced process nodes.
Key Responsibilities- Reliability Analysis (EMIR): Perform rigorous Electromigration (EM) and IR Drop analysis to ensure long-term reliability and power integrity of high-current density paths.
- Physical Verification: Execute and resolve complex DRC, LVS, ERC, and Antenna violations to ensure 100% tape-out readiness.
- Block-Level Execution: Lead high-quality custom layout for various blocks, including SerDes (TX/RX), PLL, ESD, Mixed-Signal IO, and Digital Blocks.
- Technology Support: Deliver physical implementation support across a wide range of process nodes, specifically from 12nm to 55nm.
- Optimization: Collaborate with circuit designers to optimize layout for device/signal matching, parasitic reduction (RC effects), and area efficiency.
Key Qualifications- Experience: 1–5 years of hands-on experience in Custom Layout.
- Note: High-achieving Fresh Graduates with a strong foundation in VLSI and high motivation are also encouraged to apply.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso and verification tools (e.g., Calibre, Pegasus).
- Engineering Depth: Solid understanding of device characteristics, signal integrity, and the physical phenomena affecting advanced nodes.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related VLSI field.
- Preferred Skills: Experience in Analog layout or proficiency in automation scripting (SKILL, Python, or Perl) is a significant advantage.
