Job Description:
We are looking for Senior Custom Physical Design Engineers with strong handson experience in RTLtoGDSII implementation. The engineer should be capable of independently owning two or more design partitions of varying complexity. The selected PEO will have endtoend ownership of the Physical Design flow, starting from synthesis alike through PNR, custom pre-route, timing closure and physical signoff.
Key Expectations
- Own and deliver RTL2GDSII for multiple partitions
- Handle complete PD flow including:
- Synthesis alike
- Custom floor planning & placement
- Scripted custom pre-route and optimization to achieve timing
- Perform and close signoff checks, including IR / RV, FEV, LVS / DRC
- Work closely with custom macro on interfaces and integrations
- Drive issue resolution for timing, congestion, power, and physical verification
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications
Skill Requirements
- Strong handson experience in PNR, Timing closure & Physical signoff
- Strong TCL scripting for custom pre-route and placement
- Proven ability to own blocks independently
- Experience in Fusion Compiler and Innovus
Experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Custom ASIC Physical Design
