Summary
As a Custom Software Engineer specializing in Boomi AtomSphere Integration, you will design, develop, deploy, and manage enterprise integration solutions that connect applications, systems, and data sources across cloud and on-premises environments. The role requires strong expertise in Boomi AtomSphere, Boomi B2B integrations, API management, data transformation, and workflow automation.
The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions that support business processes, application connectivity, partner integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborate with teams to ensure effective execution and delivery.
- Own technical decisions related to integration architecture, design, and implementation.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to key integration design and solution decisions.
- Provide solutions to complex integration challenges across immediate and cross-functional teams.
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain integration processes using Boomi AtomSphere.
- Develop and support Boomi B2B integrations, including Trading Partner (TP) setup changes and partner configurations.
- Build and manage interfaces between enterprise applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and external systems.
- Develop integration workflows involving data mapping, transformation, validation, exception handling, and monitoring.
- Perform integration testing activities using Boomi Testing Services and ensure solution quality.
- Implement process improvements to enhance integration performance, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members on Boomi development practices, integration patterns, testing, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Coordinate with application teams, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with integration objectives and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must-have skill: Strong proficiency in Boomi AtomSphere Integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Boomi B2B integrations, Trading Partner (TP) setup changes, and partner management.
- Experience with Boomi Testing Services, integration testing, validation, and defect resolution.
- Extensive experience with enterprise application integration (EAI), cloud integration, and API-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing Boomi processes, connectors, mappings, and integration workflows.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and middleware concepts.
- Experience with data transformation, message processing, exception management, and integration monitoring.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, SaaS integrations, and hybrid integration architectures.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, version control, and deployment processes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for integration failures, performance issues, and production support activities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Boomi AtomSphere Integration.
- This position is based at the Hyderabad office.
