Our client is a specialized IC design company focused on analog circuit innovation.
They are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer to manage the technical quality interface between customers and internal teams by analyzing defect issues, driving 8D corrective actions, and overseeing process audits to ensure the highest standards of product reliability.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze customer feedback and defect issues; drive responsible departments to implement improvements, develop corrective action plans, and follow up and verify the results.
- Coordinate the handling of defective products at customer sites, including re inspection, segregation, and repair.
- Provide customers with progress updates and results, including written reports such as 8D reports.
- Organize customer process audits, develop improvement plans for audit findings, and oversee implementation and verification.
- Work with FAE to handle quality issues at customer sites and report the results to department supervisors.
- Provide various product quality documents required by customers.
- Complete other tasks assigned by department supervisors.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics, Communications, Computer Science, Management, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of relevant quality-related work experience.
- Proficient in quality tools and methodologies; able to prepare quality assurance plans and various reports, analyze and interpret quality data, and provide recommendations for process improvement.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem solving skills, and execution capability.
- Proficient in commonly used office software.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry (e.g., assembly & test factories, wafer fabs, IC design companies) is preferred.
- Hard working, able to withstand certain work pressure and intensity.
- Basic communication skills in Chinese and English.
