Job Responsibilities
- Input, verify and confirm customer orders and forecast.
- Handle customers enquiries and process order and monitor delivery status to ensure resolution to customer's satisfaction.
- Liaise with factories to ensure that our requests for supplies are met.
- Liaise and coordinate shipping efforts between customers, Omron NSC, factories, warehouse and third party suppliers.
- Provide daily administration support duties including updating of reports, documents, controls and filing.
- Ensure timely reporting and monitoring of inventory and backlog status.
- Monitor customer's billing and conduct frequent credit check to ensure that credit facilities granted to customers are in line with company policy.
- To provide speedy and accurate support to distributors and direct customers on matter pertaining to their orders.
- To provide logistics solution pertaining to customer needs.
- Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure timely closure of all complaints.
- Close monitoring of monthly sales target to ensure that it is in line with the amount forecasted.
- To assist sales personnel in processing sample to customers when required.
- Other duties which may be assigned from time to time to achieve corporate objectives.
Job Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / SCM / Logistics or relevant discipline fresh graduate, OR,
Diploma in Business Administration / SCM / Logistics or relevant discipline + minimum 3-5 years working experience in an operational environment in a service industry, preferably in electronics sector may be considered. Experience with factories is a plus.
- Professional Certification: Relevant professional business administration / SCM / Logistics certification is a plus.
- Product experience: Experience with electronic components (relays, switches, sensors etc.) is a plus.
- Industry experience: Experience in electronics manufacturing industry is a plus.
- IT skill and literacy: Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Applications
Travelling Requirements: Minimum travel to visit factories or customers when required
