Customer Service Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries through WhatsApp, WeChat, email and other communication channels .
• Liaise with customers regarding shipment requirements, schedules and delivery arrangements.
• Prepare and provide freight and local handling quotations based on company costing.
• Coordinate sea freight shipments from booking through to delivery.
• Liaise with shipping lines, local vendors, customs and other relevant parties.
• Support customers with import clearance and documentation .
• Coordinate shipment delivery to customers or warehouse.
• Follow up closely on shipment status and ensure timely fulfilment.
• Handle customer issues and provide timely updates and solutions.
• Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure smooth end-to-end service.
• Maintain proper shipment and customer records.
• Provide support for other operational matters when required.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in customer service, operations or freight forwarding.
• Sea freight experience is required.
• Good understanding of freight forwarding processes and shipment coordination.
• Knowledge of import/export and customs clearance is an advantage.
• Experience in preparing quotations and handling freight/local charges .
• Able to manage customer enquiries and follow up with multiple parties.
• Mandarin-speaking with ability to read and communicate in Mandarin.
• Good English communication skills.
• Responsible, organised and detail-oriented.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle occasional overtime when required .
