Customer Service Specialist

JOB PURPOSE

To improve service level, attempt to build stronger relationship with the customers and provide higher customer satisfaction at all levels.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Major activities

- To handle costing and billing for shipments

- Prepare e-payments and/or yellow vouchers for payments to the shipping liners/co-loaders for D/O collection

- Update customers on the status to their shipments via email

- Resolve customers queries by determining the cause of the problem and providing the best solution to solve the issue

- Coordinating with Operations and Sales to meet customers needs

- Responsible to service and building repo with existing customer assigned by Management and further develop new trade lane

- Update shipment milestones in Value+

- Billing, costing and document sorting before send to the customers

- Filing of documents into the cloud

- MNC accounts

2. Self-organization

- Plan daily task with proper time management

- Present a friendly and courteous approach with colleagues and customers

- Sense of urgency

3. Administrative

- Follow up on CODs under her/his care

- Maintain confidentiality in all matters, transactions and/or interests pertaining to the company

4. Company Relations

- Comply with all company policies, regulations and KPIs

- Develop positive relationships with colleagues, vendors and overseas counterparts

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Knowledge in forwarding industry

- Minimum 4 years working experience in related field (forwarding/transportation/ freight industry)

- Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma/Advance/Higher/Graduate in Diploma in Logistic/ Transportation or equivalent

- Have good and positive attitude, detail-orientated, organized and able to prioritize tasks

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Able to work independently and in team & able to work under pressure in a fast moving environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

- Able to read, write and converse in English and Malay language
