You will be responsible for the smooth + compliant operations of all customs-related activities while keeping abreast of updated customs related regulations. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives.
How you create impact
- To submit customs declaration form(s) + complete related activities as required by the government, facilitating timely clearance of all shipments.
- To perform end-to-end customs activities, including but not limited to checking of documents, entering data in relevant systems.
- To respond to customs-related inquiries + resolve disputes, including tariff codes between customers + regulatory officers.
- To attend to customs examinations + ensure relevant certifications are valid.
- To monitor day-to-day performance of customs-related suppliers.
- To arrange for product re-classification with customs ruling department if required.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma in logistics, business admistration or related fields
- Minimum 1-3 years in customs & logistics
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Melayu, additional language is a plus
