We are seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer with strong technical expertise in Akamais security products. This role bridges proof-of-concept, implementation and production support, working closely with our sales and delivery teams to ensure successful customer adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides technical support, including product demonstrations, solution design, and POC execution.
- Lead technical workshops and assist customers in evaluating Akamais security solutions (e.g., WAF, Bot Manager, Kona Site Defender, Edge DNS, Zero Trust, API Security).
- Support the implementation and configuration of Akamai security products for enterprise customers.
- Act as a technical advisor to customers, addressing requirements, challenges, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide escalation support in collaboration with Akamai.
- Stay up to date with the latest Akamai product developments and security trends.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 25 years of experience in IT security, networking, or CDN/cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with web application security, DDoS protection, DNS, and Zero Trust frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Akamai products or equivalent cloud security platforms is highly advantageous.
- Strong presentation and communication skills to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
- Certifications in security (e.g., CISSP, CEH) or Akamai certifications are a plus.
