Cyber Security Specialist

Adecco is seeking an Cybersecurity Specialist for a client in the Financial Services industry. This role focuses on implementing and monitoring security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and information. The specialist will ensure compliance with Information Security Policy and Standards, as well as statutory legal and regulatory requirements. The position requires a deep understanding of IT security technologies and processes, and the ability to lead and manage security incidents, assessments, and projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision

What will you Do

• Lead and oversee day-to-day IT security incidents and administration tasks
• Monitor and respond to event logs and alert notifications on servers and networks
• Investigate cybersecurity incidents and perform vulnerability scans and patch management
• Participate in IT security assessment reviews and analyze business risks
• Facilitate interactions with internal and external audit engagements

Your Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Information Technology
• CISSP, CRISC, CEH, GIAC, GCIH, GWAPT certifications are advantageous
• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in IT security technologies and processes
• Proficiency in ZeroTrust, Network Security Monitoring, NAC, L2/L3 Firewalls, and related technologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
