What You'll Be Doing
Policy & Compliance
- Develop, review, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with recognised international frameworks and regulations, including ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and GDPR
Monitoring & Threat Detection
- Overall ownership of our SIEM platform (Wazuh)
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting using SIEM, IDS, and EDR tools
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure timely detection and response
Security Architecture & Design
- Review system designs and changes to ensure security is incorporated from the start
- Provide guidance on secure architectures aligned with global best practices
Infrastructure Guidance
- Work closely with infrastructure teams to implement and maintain security controls across networks, servers, endpoints, and cloud environments
Development Guidance
- Partner with development teams to promote security awareness and secure coding practices across the software lifecycle
Vulnerability Management
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Manage patching and remediation activities
- Coordinate with external international security vendors for independent VAPT exercises
Risk Assessment
- Identify and assess cybersecurity risks impacting business operations
- Recommend practical mitigation strategies to support business growth
Incident Response
- Investigate, contain, and remediate security incidents such as malware infections, data breaches, or unauthorised access
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term preventive measures
User Awareness & Training
- Deliver cybersecurity awareness and phishing training across the organisation
- Conduct social engineering assessments to strengthen employee security awareness
What We're Looking For
- 45 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related role
- Strong working knowledge of security frameworks, monitoring tools, and incident response
- Experience working in technology-driven or multi-country environments is highly advantageous
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
- Relevant certifications (ISO 27001, Security+, CEH, etc.) are a plus
