About the Role
We are seeking a highly technical Pre-Sales Engineer to support and expand our cybersecurity business across SEA. This critical role blends strong sales support with essential post-sales technical assistance, acting as the primary technical expert for the region
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales & Strategy
- Technical Authority: Serve as the regional technical expert for our cybersecurity product portfolio.
- Solution Design: Design tailored, compelling technical solutions based on customer needs.
- Presentations & Demos: Conduct high-impact product demos, presentations, and Proof of Concepts (PoC) for all levels of customer teams.
- RFP/RFI: Manage and complete the technical sections of proposals.
- Market Insight:Monitor regional market trends, competitor actions, and policy shifts to guide sales strategy.
- Policy & Compliance:Interpret local regulations (e.g., data privacy) and align our technical strategies to address customer compliance requirements.
- Technical & Post-Sales Support (Crucial)
- Post-Sales Bridge: Provide essential technical support for smooth transition from sales to implementation.
- Troubleshooting: Use technical skills for initial diagnosis, configuration support, and troubleshooting for enterprise solutions, acting as the first line before escalating to dedicated support.
- Product Feedback: Relay customer feedback and regional requirements to Product and Engineering teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience:5+ years in a Pre-Sales or Solutions Architect role within the Cybersecurity industry, with direct SEA market experience. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in leading cybersecurity vendors.
- Technical Depth:
- Strong knowledge across multiple cybersecurity domains (e.g., Gateway, Cloud, SIEM, Endpoint).
- Proven ability for hands-on PoCs and technical deep-dives.
- Required: Ability to perform initial diagnosis and configuration for enterprise security solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional English communication skills (written/verbal). Regional languages (Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP) highly desirable.
- Travel: Willingness to travel regionally as required.
