Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Finance Lead with deep expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across SCM modules and lead full-cycle implementations, solution design, and deployment activities. This role requires strong functional knowledge, technical understanding, and leadership capabilities to deliver high-quality solutions for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects for D365 SCM and Finance modules, managing all stages from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and post-go-live support.
- Provide hands-on configuration, development oversight, solution evaluation, and validation activities to ensure the successful delivery of D365 F&O solutions.
- Act as the SME for SCM modules including Inventory Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Sales & Marketing, Production Control, Warehouse Management, and Master Planning.
- Manage enhancements and change requests by preparing proof of concepts, conducting demos, and overseeing mini-projects to address evolving business needs.
- Support presales activities by responding to RFPs, RFS, and RFIs, and preparing well-structured solution proposals and presentations.
- Collaborate closely with Finance consultants and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment across modules.
- Maintain working knowledge of related technologies within the Dynamics ecosystem, including Power Apps, Logic Apps, and Dataverse, applying them appropriately to enhance solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices, compliance requirements, and performance optimization strategies.
- Mentor junior consultants, facilitate knowledge transfer sessions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 9 years of hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations with strong involvement in development, configuration, solution evaluation, validation, and deployment.
- Extensive background in implementing SCM modules with demonstrated experience integrating Finance components.
- Strong understanding of implementation versus support roles with the ability to clearly articulate responsibilities and contribution percentages.
- Proven experience managing enhancements, change requests, POCs, demos, and small-scale project initiatives.
- Exposure to presales engagements, including responding to formal requests such as RFPs, RFS, and RFIs.
- Foundational awareness of Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Logic Apps, along with Dataverse.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and manage client expectations effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert.
- Experience with multi-country implementations or global rollout projects.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies.
