Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Analyst located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify trends and insights, building and maintaining data models, and preparing detailed reports. Regular tasks will also include applying statistical methods and tools, assisting with business decision-making, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders. Mandarin proficiency is a plus for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Excel.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define metrics, KPIs, and data-driven business objectives.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business units.
• Support data governance, quality assurance, and documentation efforts.
• Automate repetitive data processing and reporting tasks where possible.
• Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to optimize data pipelines and storage solutions.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
• Strong skills in data visualization tools.
• Advanced Excel and statistical analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
• Proficient in Analytical Skills, Data Analytics, and Data Modeling.
• Skilled in Statistics and utilizing statistical techniques for data interpretation.
• High-level proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly and effectively.
• Fluency in Mandarin is required to support business communication needs.
