Job Description

The Data Analyst will be responsible for delivering timely, trusted, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence. The role will also contribute significantly to advancing the organization's analytics maturity by empowering business users to adopt self-service data platforms, generate insights independently, and cultivate a decentralized, data-informed culture supported by adaptive data governance.

This position is essential in bridging the gap between raw data and business outcomes - both through hands-on analysis and by enabling others to do the same.

Responsibilities:

Self-Service Training & Co-Building Dashboards

  • Deliver structured training programs to empower citizen developers in self-service analytics using Power BI. Facilitate co-building of interactive, trusted dashboards and leverage Microsoft Fabric for scalable deployment and governance.

Business Metrics Documentation

  • Develop and maintain well-defined business metrics, KPIs, and terminology within shared catalogs or semantic layers to ensure alignment, consistency, and transparency across teams.

Insight Summaries & Performance Reporting

  • Prepare periodic performance summaries, trend analyses, and insight reports that translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.

Enablement & Education Materials

  • Create and maintain training content, enablement guides, and user education sessions to drive sustained analytics adoption and data literacy across the organization.

Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand priorities, align analytics initiatives with strategic objectives, and ensure that insights directly support operational and commercial outcomes.

Qualifications & Competencies:

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into actionable insights using data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including training and support for non-technical users.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, KPIs, and operational processes (e.g., sales, supply chain, finance)

Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency in SQL, data wrangling, and transformation.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric or similar).
  • Familiarity with semantic models and reusable analytical layers for business users.
