The Data Analyst will be responsible for delivering timely, trusted, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence. The role will also contribute significantly to advancing the organization's analytics maturity by empowering business users to adopt self-service data platforms, generate insights independently, and cultivate a decentralized, data-informed culture supported by adaptive data governance.
This position is essential in bridging the gap between raw data and business outcomes - both through hands-on analysis and by enabling others to do the same.
Responsibilities:
Self-Service Training & Co-Building Dashboards
- Deliver structured training programs to empower citizen developers in self-service analytics using Power BI. Facilitate co-building of interactive, trusted dashboards and leverage Microsoft Fabric for scalable deployment and governance.
Business Metrics Documentation
- Develop and maintain well-defined business metrics, KPIs, and terminology within shared catalogs or semantic layers to ensure alignment, consistency, and transparency across teams.
Insight Summaries & Performance Reporting
- Prepare periodic performance summaries, trend analyses, and insight reports that translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
Enablement & Education Materials
- Create and maintain training content, enablement guides, and user education sessions to drive sustained analytics adoption and data literacy across the organization.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand priorities, align analytics initiatives with strategic objectives, and ensure that insights directly support operational and commercial outcomes.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or performance reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into actionable insights using data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including training and support for non-technical users.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, KPIs, and operational processes (e.g., sales, supply chain, finance)
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in SQL, data wrangling, and transformation.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric or similar).
- Familiarity with semantic models and reusable analytical layers for business users.
