Data Analyst

4 month Contract - Data Analyst - 4 days onsite Kuala Lumpur

Purpose of the job:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and presenting recruitment-related data to support business decisions. This role requires strong Excel skills to manage datasets, generate reports, and create meaningful insights. While prior experience with Power BI is an advantage, it is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract and consolidate recruitment and HR data from Workday into Excel for reporting
• Utilize Pivot Tables and formulas to analyze and interpret data
• Create presentations and visual reports to support Talent Acquisition strategies
• Handle ad-hoc data requests and reporting needs in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency for recruitment analytics
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Account Managers and Talent Acquisition teams
• Assist in the continuous improvement of data reporting processes

Experience & Qualifications:

• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of experience with a strong interest in data analytics are welcome
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, and data manipulation) is a must
• Power BI experience is a plus, but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills to present insights effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and ad-hoc requests
• Detail-oriented with a structured and analytical approach to data
