is looking for a talented Data Analyst (Warehouse & Logistics) to join us inPenang, Malaysia!


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards to support warehouse and logistics visibility/decision-making.
  • Automate recurring reports and data processes using Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, or equivalent tools.
  • Maintaining KPI reports for Warehouse & Logistics performance.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation and ensure accuracy of data within WMS, ERP and other operational systems.
  • Analyse operational trends and provide insights on productivity, cycle time, space utilization, inventory aging, logistics cost and other KPIs.
  • Work closely internal stakeholder such as IT teams to ensure smooth information flow and timely updates.
  • Assist in troubleshooting system data issues and support basic enhancements with IT/System Support teams.
  • Develop advanced Excel-based tools (Pivot, Power Query, advanced formulas) for ad-hoc analysis and operational problem-solving.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, focusing on data-driven insights and opportunities for automation or simplification.
  • Maintain proper documentation, reporting structures, audit trails and data governance compliance.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties or analysis tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Certifications in Power BI, Power Platform, SQL, or data analytics are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS), and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience in developing Power BI dashboards (DAX knowledge is preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience in automating reports or workflows using Power Query or Power Automate is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics) is preferred.
  • Analytical and innovative mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and provide clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Attention to detail, strong data accuracy discipline and consistent documentation habits.
  • Able to support extended hours or weekend tasks when required based on operational needs.
