About the Role:

We are seeking a high-caliber intern to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, focused on data analytics, process optimization, and automation. This role is designed for individuals who are exceptionally strong in Excel and eager to apply their skills to real business challenges.

You will work closely with experienced team members on live projects, gaining exposure to how data drives decision-making and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on role with meaningful responsibilities from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, structure, and maintain large datasets to support business operations.

• Design and optimize data mapping frameworks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Build advanced Excel models, dashboards, and reporting tools for internal stakeholders.

• Apply complex formulas and logical structures to solve real-world data problems.

• Develop and implement automation solutions using VBA, macros, or similar tools.

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase efficiency through data-driven solutions.

• Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to team-based problem solving.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related/equivalent field.

• Able to commit to a minimum 6-month internship, preferably 12 months.

• Must be based in Kuala Lumpur and able to work onsite.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data modelling.

• Strong foundation in data structuring, mapping, and logical thinking.

• Experience with VBA, macros, or automation tools is highly preferred.

• Demonstrates strong analytical ability and attention to detail.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

• Proactive, resourceful, and able to take ownership of tasks.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
