Job Description

The position reports to the Lead Analytics Engineer

Job Overview:

We are hiring a Data Analytics Engineer who bridges the gap between data engineering and data analysis. You'll own the transformation layer, ensuring data is clean, modeled, and ready for analysis using DBT and SQL. If you have a passion for analytics, clean data models, and building beautiful dashboards (especially in Looker), this role is for you.

Your work life:

  • Develop, optimize and maintain scalable data models using DBT.
  • Write performant and reusable SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
  • Translate complex business questions and operational requirements into meaningful, accessible and actionable data solutions.
  • Build, enhance and maintain dashboards using a BI tool — preferably Looker.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business challenges and ensure data needs are met.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of data across datasets, reports and dashboards.

To be considered, you'll need:

  • 5-7 years expert-level SQL skills and strong understanding of relational data modeling and data transformation best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with DBT for building, maintaining and optimizing scalable transformation workflows and data models.
  • Experience with at least one BI tool; Looker preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand business problems deeply and avoid communication gaps between business and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a strong focus on data accuracy, validation and reliability.
  • Experience/knowledge in Billing, Revenue Assurance & Fraud systems will be an added advantage.

Our Commitment to You

At Time, we believe great work deserves great support. Here's what you can look forward to when you join us:

  • Comprehensive medical coverage for you and your immediate family, including outpatient care, hospitalisation, dental and optical benefits.
  • Wellness support with an annual spending account for health-related needs, alternative treatments, or even paid-up premiums for personal insurance.
  • Employee assistance during life's big moments, from celebrations to times of bereavement.
  • Learning & growth opportunities through dedicated time for learning, access to LinkedIn Learning and rewards for upskilling.
  • Cash rewards for recognised certifications and full reimbursement for up to two approved professional memberships each year.

*Only shortlisted candidates will be notified
