Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data and Analytics Programme Manager to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our Enterprise data strategy across the organization. This individual will be responsible for coordinating teams, resources, and timelines to ensure that data programs and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals. The role focusing on driving change by strong stakeholder management, proactive engagement and overcommunication to make sure all parties are aware about what's happening, what needs to happen and what good looks like. By setting up and coordinating workshop, alignment sessions and steercos this person will guarantee the success of the programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, project management, change management and cross-functional collaboration.

Is this your next challenge as a Programme Manager

The challenge is to:

  • Lead the programme team to deliver a common data model, setup Hub and Spoke across domains, delivery standard reports all from procure, design, build, test and go live, to handover to BAU support.
  • Manage all programme deliverables and dependencies to other projects, collaborating with data engineers, analytics team, domain owners, wider Group Technology team and business stakeholders to achieve project goals and deliverables
  • Proactively set up alignment sessions, coordinate steerco agenda and material and make sure actions are followed through
  • Create and maintain project plans, ensuring that milestones, timelines, and resources are well-defined and managed effectively.
  • Monitor budgets for programs and projects to ensure efficient use of resources and cost management.
  • Manage suppliers to deliver plan defined
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress
  • Drive program risk management by identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Follow DFI decision making framework for architecture, data, AI, and financial approval
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating program status and results.

Do you have experience in Data and Analytics

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in data science, analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in programme management
  • Understanding the basic data architecture and analytics concepts
  • Familiarity with data analytics platforms and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Enjoys working with a large set of stakeholders and creating clear communication and alignment frames
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional data programs and projects.
  • Excellent project management skills with proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence or similar.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines and milestones simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP, Agile, or other similar project management certifications are a plus.
  • Previous experience in retail or a related industry managing complex data ecosystems is highly beneficial.
  • Knowledge of market trends and emerging technologies such as blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Data Streaming (Kafka) etc. would be a bonus
