Job Description

Job Title: Data Annotation Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Annotation Analyst to support the accuracy and integrity of commercial transaction data. This role involves validating, analyzing, and enriching business data while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and processing logic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate daily commercial transaction records to ensure accurate attribution to the correct business entities.
  • Analyze and resolve unmapped or ambiguous business records by cross-referencing internal and external data sources.
  • Initiate the creation of new commercial account records when no existing match is identified.
  • Utilize advanced data processing tools to group, filter, and analyze large datasets efficiently.
  • Collaborate with regional and global business, process, and data teams to enhance data ingestion logic and identify systemic mapping issues.
  • Conduct independent research on corporate entities using reliable third-party verification sources.
  • Identify recurring data patterns and recommend improvements to automated matching logic and historical data rules.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and comprehension) to validate business names and addresses accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect subtle inconsistencies in data.
  • Ability to navigate proprietary data management systems and handle large datasets efficiently.
  • Good command of English (reading, writing, and comprehension) for effective cross-functional communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data annotation, content review, master data management (MDM), or similar operational roles.
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity.
  • Strong critical-thinking skills, especially when working with ambiguous or incomplete data.
  • Proven ability to identify and suggest process or workflow improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
