Data Annotator (Proficient in English and Oversea Living Experience)

Work Location: Georgetown, Penang

Working hours: Mon - Fri, 8.00am - 5.00pm

Type of Employment: 1 year contract (renewable)

The Data Annotator is responsible for annotating, categorizing, and organizing data related to business, ensuring data accuracy and completeness, is familiar with social media platforms such as Rednote, and is proficient in both spoken and written English.

Job Description:

1. Responsible for annotating, categorizing, and organizing data related to overseas business, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

2. Understand the basic logic of QD relevance, recall business, and GSB evaluation business, be familiar with social media platforms such as Rednote, and fully identify pain points and difficulties in search and push projects.

3. Familiar with the culture and language habits of different countries/regions, ensuring that the annotated content complies with local regulations.

4. Collaborate with the team to optimize the annotation process, improve data quality and efficiency.

5. Complete annotation tasks on time and provide regular feedback on issues and suggestions during the annotation process.

Requirements:

1. Possess a full-time undergraduate degree or higher.

2. Be a citizen of a British Commonwealth country.

3. Have used English consistently since childhood.

4. Have a solid understanding of commonly used search products and search scenarios, with strong insight into user needs and the ability to accurately interpret user intent across different search contexts. More than one year of experience in search operations, search evaluation, or content review is preferred.

5. Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Candidates should possess clear and structured language expression, a high level of stress tolerance, and a strong sense of responsibility.

6. Have overseas living experience; preference will be given to candidates who lived abroad from childhood, particularly in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
