Data Annotator

Responsibilities

• Listen to and transcribe short audio clips (approximately 2 minutes) from various sources, including podcasts, TV programs, and movies.
• Accurately capture spoken English content, even when subtitles are unavailable.
• Ensure high-quality transcription with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Maintain consistency and attention to detail across different types of audio content.
• Meet project deadlines and follow task guidelines as instructed.
• Collaborate with the project team and provide feedback on audio quality or task-related issues when necessary.

Requirements

• Excellent command of English (at least C1 English level)
• Educational background in linguistics or experience in language teaching is a major plus
• Management and/or QA experience in the data annotation industry will be preferred
• Attention to detail, and the ability to help others to improve
• An up-to-date PC or Mac and a stable Internet connection
• Available at least 4 hours per working day
