Take overall responsibility for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of critical data center facilities and infrastructure.
Lead and supervise the facilities operations team to ensure operational targets, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and project requirements are consistently achieved.
Drive continuous improvement in data center performance, operational efficiency, and energy utilization, including initiatives to improve Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE).
Manage daily team activities, including workforce planning, task allocation, shift scheduling, operational risk assessment, incident handling, and staff performance management.
Establish, review, and maintain comprehensive SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and operational training materials to ensure consistent and standardized execution of data center activities.
Plan and oversee preventive maintenance activities, technical training, emergency preparedness programs, and emergency response drills to maintain a high level of operational readiness.
Evaluate and authorize facility-related changes, maintenance activities, incident reports, and emergency actions, ensuring appropriate risk controls and timely issue resolution.
Ensure all facility operations and maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, safety practices, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, contractors, and service providers to coordinate operational activities, resolve issues, and maintain service continuity.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data center or critical facility operations, with previous experience in a supervisory or management capacity being an added advantage.
Good understanding of data center critical systems, including electrical distribution, UPS, standby generators, cooling/HVAC systems, and associated facility infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage operational risks, respond to incidents, and drive continuous improvement.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in English and Mandarin for day-to-day communication and coordination with stakeholders.
