Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management & Infrastructure Reliability

  • Direct and oversee 24/7 site operations across the regional facility cluster, ensuring maximum infrastructure availability (100% uptime) and full compliance with client SLAs.
  • Enforce, update, and optimize operational SOPs, EOPs (Emergency Operating Procedures), and industry best practices.
  • Lead incident management, root-cause analysis (RCA), and emergency response efforts to minimize downtime and mitigate operational risk.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, evaluate facility performance metrics, and drive continuous risk management initiatives.

Team Leadership & Shift Operations

  • Manage, mentor, and build a high-performing team of technical, electrical, mechanical, and shift operations personnel.
  • Oversee shift handover protocols and scheduling to ensure continuous, seamless 24/7 operational coverage.
  • Conduct regular technical training, safety drills, and performance reviews to foster continuous improvement and technical capability.

Maintenance, Engineering & Upgrades

  • Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance (PPM/CM) for critical infrastructure (UPS, generators, Chillers/HVAC, BMS, fire suppression, and MV/LV power systems).
  • Supervise external contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants during maintenance events and site expansion projects to prevent operational disruption.

Safety, Quality & Audit Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and local statutory regulations.
  • Maintain complete, audit-ready operational documentation, logs, and maintenance records.
  • Uphold site compliance with global industry certifications and standards (including ISMS/ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, or equivalent facility accreditations).

Customer Service & Strategic Support

  • Partner with technical support teams to oversee smart hands and physical technical assistance for multi-tenant and enterprise clients.
  • Act as a key escalation point for technical and operational inquiries, maintaining high client satisfaction levels.
  • Support senior leadership in regional growth initiatives, capital expenditure planning, and operational budget management.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in critical facility, mission-critical, or high-availability infrastructure operations, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Deep technical expertise in critical power distribution, HVAC/precision cooling systems, BMS, and network infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of managing 24/7 technical shift teams and leading incident response in a high-uptime environment.
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional industry certifications (e.g., CDCP, CDCS, CDCE, or equivalent critical infrastructure accreditations) are highly preferred.
  • Multi-lingual capability (English fluency required; proficiency in local or regional languages is an advantage).
