Role Overview
As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and enabling AI/ML solutions within a production environment. You'll work closely with analytics, business, and engineering stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Airflow
- Build modular and incremental data flows to optimize refresh cycles
- Develop ETL/ELT workflows across telecom and operational systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models into production
- Ensure data quality, governance, and version control through reusable components
- Troubleshoot and optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Partner with business teams on domain logic validation
Requirements
- 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or related roles
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with modern data frameworks (Airflow, Spark)
- Working knowledge of Azure data ecosystem
- (Data Factory, AzureML, Synapse, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with AWS services (S3, ECS, RDS, EC2)
- Experience designing incremental / modular pipelines
- Strong understanding of data governance and access management
