Role Description

This is a full-time remote Data Engineer role with EV Connection. The Data Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including data modeling, ETL workflows design, extract and load data from internal and external sources, and support data warehousing and data analytics for the Analytics and AI/ML team. They will also be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing data solutions that can effectively accelerate business insights, improve customer experience and optimizing operations.

Qualifications

• Data Engineering and Data Modeling skills.
• Experience in ETL workflows designing, data warehousing and data analytics using Pentaho, AWS Glue.
• Strong understanding of the full data engineering lifecycle.
• Excellent understanding of SQL/noSQL and advanced programming languages like Python
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Redshift, Spark-Streaming etc.
• Proven ability to manipulate and create complex datasets from diverse data sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
