We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Fabric to support our digital transformation journey in the Oil & Gas sector. The role involves working as a technical delivery team member, contributing to development efforts across our application platforms, including our Microsoft Fabric deployment. You will design and optimize data pipelines, enable advanced analytics, and ensure reliable data integration across business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and related Azure services.
- Integrate and manage data from multiple sources (operational, financial, engineering) into centralized platforms.
- Implement data governance, security, and quality standards across Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Collaborate with business and engineering teams to deliver actionable insights for decision-making.
- Support reporting, dashboards, and self-service analytics for Oil & Gas operations.
- Contribute as a technical delivery team member across application platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in the Oil & Gas / Energy industry.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory).
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Exposure to newer technologies such as Python, AI/ML, and Graph databases is highly desirable.
- Experience with data governance, security, and performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work in cross-functional teams.
