Data Engineer

Not all data roles are the same, and we're hiring for two very different paths within the same team!

If you enjoy working with data, but you're not sure whether you lean more towards building systems or telling stories with data, this might be for you.

You'll be joining a Malaysia-based team supporting US clients, working closely with stakeholders across regions. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative. Ownership, accountability, and independence are key.

This is a US shift role (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM MYT), and you'll be working on real client problems, not theoretical projects.

Path 1: You enjoy fixing, building, and making systems work

Some people love diving into code, figuring out why something broke, and making it better.

If that sounds like you, you'll likely fit into our Client Operations role.

In this path, your day revolves around:

• Working on existing systems used by clients
• Troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance
• Translating business requests into working technical solutions
• Writing SQL and Python to handle large-scale data

It's less about presentations, and more about solving problems behind the scenes.

Path 2: You enjoy analyzing data and telling meaningful stories

Others prefer looking at data, finding patterns, and explaining what it all means.

If that's you, the Data Solutions role might be a better fit.

Here, you'll:

• Analyze large datasets and turn them into insights
• Build dashboards and visualizations
• Create client-ready presentations
• Work closely with business and sales teams to support decisions

It's less about fixing systems, and more about helping people understand and act on data.

What we're looking for:

Across both roles, we're looking for people who are:

• Comfortable working with SQL and Python
• Able to handle large datasets
• Strong in communication and ownership
• Independent, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks

You don't need to tick every box, but you should know which direction you naturally lean towards.
