Purpose of the Role:
Information Technology & Digitalization (IT&D department is now embarking on a journey of internal transformation, where IT strategies, targets, processes, platforms vendors and employee skillsets need to be revised and modernized in order to align with Wasco's latest business needs and goals. This role is responsible to design, build and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and platforms to support analytics and Al in ensuring data ls accessible, clean, secure and reliable.
Job Scope:
- A hybrid of both business analysis and data engineering, including data pipeline development and data visualization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations to support business decisions, identify trends, patterns and insights.
- Work closely in a multi-disciplinary team with members from business, software development, architect, UI/UX, infrastructure etc. to create the best possible solution and resolve complex problems.
- Ensure such data analytics implementation projects are meeting expected data quality, including design1 development, testing and deployment with support from the other team members.
- Be an expert in data analytics platform to provide maintenance, troubleshooting, defect fixing, data cleansing, training and enablement support on any relevant solutions in Wasco.
- Participate and contribute to the development of data governance and quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices of relevant technologies
- Engage in continuous learning through active mentorship and guidance from experienced team members.
- Thrive in a flexible work environment by taking ownership of project deliveries and embracing new learning opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering or any other relevant qualifications.
- Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
- Possess abilities to communicate effectively with business users training them to increase data literacy and organizing various workshops to upskill them to perform self-service Bl.
- Possess abilities to analyze business requirements effectively and bridge into technical solution.
- Willing to continuously learn about configuring analytics platform for various complex functions through trainings and hands on project experience.
- Open to explore other domains and initiatives in Wasco to grow his/ her career development.
