Job description:
The Data Entry Executive (Audit) is responsible for supporting the audit and finance functions by ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial data. This role involves handling invoices, verifying transactions, and maintaining proper documentation to support financial integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect invoices and supporting documents from respective outlet managers in a timely manner
- Record daily sales and cash expenditures accurately in the system
- Verify individual cash expenditure transactions with relevant departments before data entry
- Ensure all financial data is properly documented and filed for audit purposes
- Identify and report discrepancies or errors to the supervisor and relevant stakeholders
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records to support audit processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates may be considered if strong)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
