KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Governance & Quality
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and frameworks
- Monitor and improve data quality across multiple data sources (e.g., SSM, Trade Credit Reference, Legal Summons, CCRIS and etc)
- Manage data lineage, definitions, and metadata
Data Integration & Management
- Oversee ingestion and integration of external and internal datasets
- Collaborate with engineering teams on ETL processes and data pipelines
- Ensure consistency and reliability of data across platforms
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and data privacy laws
- Support audits and regulatory reporting
- Implement controls to safeguard sensitive consumer and business data
Analytics & Business Support
- Enable data-driven products such as credit insights, risk flags, and entity summaries
- Work with product and analytics teams to derive financial trends, ratios, and insights
- Support decision-making with accurate and timely data
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise with regulators, partners, subscribers, data providers, and internal stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into data solutions
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Economics, Engineering or Statistics. Or any relevant professional qualifications fulfilling the regulatory requirements (if any).
- At least 5 years relevant experience in Credit Reporting Agency (CRA), Fintech, Banks, Financial Services, Credit & Leasing or any related fields; had assumed management positions with good professional ethics and occupational track records.
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills and able to coach and guide subordinates.
- Strategic mindset with demonstrated experience in implementing data frameworks and driving continuous improvement.
- SQL and database management (datawarehousing, ETL processes)
- Familiarity with data platforms (e.g., cloud, big data tools)
- Ability to work closely with data engineers
