This role supports daily operations which includes processing Material Master Data requests in the ERP system and reporting process/system issues. Additionally, you will perform data clean-up related to issue resolution. As a liaison between relevant functions, consultants, and business stakeholders, this role requires strong system and business knowledge to effectively bridge and support both functions. As a Data Management Steward, you must analyze large datasets, understand their impact, and determine the most effective ways to utilize the data. The role requires database skills and serves as a master user for project activities. Responsibilities also include data cleansing, data validation, testing, and providing go‑live support for system implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage large volumes of data, including sorting, filtering, pivoting, summarizing, and performing accuracy and error checks
- Run basic queries on data sets to extract insights and support business needs
- Understand underlying data structures and linkages within specific data domains to ensure data consistency and integrity
- Apply working knowledge of relevant procedures in daily operations
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving, and conceptual skills to resolve data and system issues
- Communicate effectively—both verbally and in writing—by translating complex technical information into clear business terms
- Show initiative, sound judgment, and a results‑oriented approach in managing tasks and supporting stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in related discipline
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in data management
- Excellent writing and spoken English and Chinese
- Expertise in Microsoft Ofifice and exposure to SAP/ERP systems
