Job Description

This role is instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, developing interactive dashboards and reports, and streamlining reporting processes through automation.

Data Analysis & Insights Generation

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers.

  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that support business planning, operational efficiency, and strategic goals.

Dashboard Development & Reporting Automation

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and scorecards using Power BI and Excel.

  • Develop robust data models and transformations using Power Query to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability.

  • Automate manual reporting workflows using Power Automate to improve timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency.

  • Uphold data visualization and reporting standards to ensure clarity and consistency across outputs.

Reporting & Presentation Excellence

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business, financial, or operational performance.

  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights that drive informed decision-making.

  • Prepare and present executive-level reports and performance summaries tailored for diverse stakeholders.

  • Support management with data-driven recommendations and scenario-based analysis.

  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, and propose data-driven actions to enhance outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver fit-for-purpose analytics solutions.

  • Present analytical findings through compelling visuals and narratives to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Support the organization in adopting self-service reporting tools and strengthening data literacy.

Continuous Improvement & Data Governance

  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems and reports.

  • Streamline data collection, transformation, and reporting processes through process optimization and automation.

  • Document and continuously enhance reporting frameworks, workflows, and data governance practices.

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, project/account management role.

  • Strong proficiency in:
    - Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, Power Query, data modeling)
    - Power Point (presentation tool)
    - Power BI (dashboard design, DAX, visualization best practices)
    - Power Automate (workflow automation, integration, scheduling)

  • Experience with data transformation or automation tools (e.g., SQL, VBA, or Python) is an advantage.

  • Excellent ability to translate data into insights and visuals that support strategic and operational decisions.

  • Effective communication skills in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.

  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving mindset.

  • Experience in shared services, operations, or performance reporting environments is an advantage (training provided).
