Data Science Lead

EY's AI & Data team is expanding! We are looking for exceptional talent to help shape the future of data science and artificial intelligence in business. What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end data science projects: data acquisition, feature engineering, modeling, evaluation, and deployment.
• Design and develop AI/ML models, including LLMs for text summarization, content generation, document intelligence, and chatbots.
• Guide clients on AI/ML adoption strategies, ensuring responsible use of GenAI.
• Build reusable ML pipelines and support MLOps practices.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to team capability building.
• Stay current with AI/ML and GenAI technologies and best practices.
• Present insights clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python or R, with experience in Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI).
• Solid understanding of NLP, deep learning, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (PhD is a plus).
• Senior Associate: Minimum 2+ years in AI/ML projects.
• Manager/Senior Manager: 6+ years with proven leadership in data science engagements.
• Experience applying traditional ML and GenAI in real-world business use cases.
• Knowledge of LLMs and vector databases is a strong advantage.

Nice to Have

• AI/ML certifications (Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML Specialty).
• Experience with Responsible AI, explainability, and AI ethics.
• Consulting or client-facing experience across industries.
