Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Scientist who can solve complex data problems end-to-end and influence product and business decisions through insights, experimentation, and modelling.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to understand user behaviour, identify growth opportunities, design experiments, and build data-driven solutions. This role is ideal for someone who goes beyond reporting and is excited about using data, statistics, and machine learning to solve real-world consumer problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large and complex datasets to generate actionable business and product insights.
• Partner with Product Managers and business teams to define success metrics, KPIs, and north-star metrics.
• Design, execute, and analyse A/B tests, experiments, and feature rollouts.
• Build and maintain dashboards and analytical frameworks for cross-functional teams.
• Develop predictive models, user segmentation, and user behaviour models.
• Identify opportunities across growth, engagement, retention, and monetisation.
• Translate business problems into analytical and machine learning solutions.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across analytical workflows.
• Apply rigorous model evaluation and validation practices.
• Work with Engineering and ML teams to productionise and monitor machine learning models.
• Present insights, recommendations, and analytical findings to product and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Product Analytics, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and experimentation.
• Experience with A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
• Ability to translate data into actionable product and business recommendations.
• Experience building predictive models using classification, regression, clustering, or similar techniques.
• Understanding of model evaluation, validation, and end-to-end ML workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, and Business teams.

Good to Have

• Experience with recommendation systems or personalisation.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with model orchestration, deployment, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
• Experience with consumer internet, media, gaming, social, or content platforms.
• Knowledge of data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working with real-time or high-volume consumer data.
